Masovison Technology (P) Ltd built the Kaha app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Masovison Technology (P) Ltd at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Kaha unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Disclosure

Your data is kept safe with us, but we do share your personal information with third parties we trust in order to provide you with our services, as follows:

(a) App Providers and Other Third-Parties: We may disclose your information to service providers and other third-parties under contract who help with providing you and others our Services on our behalf or other services provided by third-parties via our Services (such as, but not limited to, fraud and spam investigations). They are required to secure the data they receive and to use the data for pre-agreed purposes only.

(b) Legal and Law Enforcement: We may disclose your information to law enforcement, governmental agencies, or authorized third-parties, in response to a verified request relating to terror acts, criminal investigations or alleged illegal activity or any other activity that may expose us, you, or any other Kaha user to legal liability.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Personal Information such as Name, Email, Phone Number, Images, Message/Attachment. We collect the minimum information required to achieve the purposes set out in this Policy (see below), and you have the ability to limit such collection, as specified below under “Your Choices”:

(a) Registration and Account Information: When you use our various Services you voluntarily give us personal information (e.g., name, email, phone number) and you are not anonymous to us. That means your name and photo (if you choose to provide them) will be visible to other Kaha users and they can search you by phone or name unless you accept our permission. When you install the Kaha App, you’ll also be asked to allow us access your device location. Also, when you try to message or find other user’s in Kaha app via phone or message search at that you have option to allow or disallow permission of mobile device’s address book. A copy of the phone numbers and names of all your contacts (whether they’re Kaha members or not – but only name and phone number) will be collected and stored on our servers, mainly in order for us to be able to enable you and your contacts to connect.

(b) Activity Information: While using the Kaha Services, we will collect, and other users can see, your current location, whether you have shared your location to others, if you don’t want to provide your current location you can disallow it going through app permission settings i.e. location. When you send your location through messages, with your permission, we may collect data.

(c) Device and Location Information: We collect additional information when you access our App through a certain device (e.g. your mobile device’s unique identifier and the Kaha address shared log). We may also collect your WPS location data – you can choose whether to allow this by changing your geolocation tracking settings.

The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Information You Share Publicly

You can control what data you share through app settings. Please refer to those third-party sites’ privacy policies and terms of use to learn more about their privacy practices, as we do not control these. At this stage, whatever you share publicly is available to the entire Kaha community. If you wish to remove a certain piece of content you have shared in the past, you can do that by deleting that content. It will be removed from our services but may remain on local devices of some users (assuming they have chosen to save it).

Your Choices

We want you to have control over how you communicate. That is why, for example, we allow you to delete shared address even after they have been sent (it will be deleted for you, your friend and our service). You can choose not to share your contact information, not to allow other users to look you up by name, request your data and request to delete your data along with many other additional options, which are available within the app. You can also make additional choices on your phone’s settings by changing our app’s permissions such as location sharing, access to contact list and more. Every now and then, Kaha may send you updates about administration and operation of the Service (for example, policy changes, technical issues, etc.). We may also send notifications about offerings by Kaha or third-parties, that we think may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such notifications, you may adjust your system settings to decline them.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
